July 12th Stoker Training (2)

Come ride a tandem bike with the help of our wonderful captains! We’ll set you up with a partner, adjust the bike the way you like it, and before you know it you’ll be zooming around the Central Park loop. Or maybe not zooming – fast or slow, it’s up to you!

About the event

We welcome riders of all abilities. At InTandem, our mantra is “Safety, safety, safety, and after a while, everything else.” You must be able to safely ride a tandem bike to participate in our riding programs. Before riding with us, you must complete a stoker orientation and training session conducted by an InTandem staff member.

During any of our regular Central Park rides, you can leave your guide dog, and personal belongings with our volunteers at the start located at the Engineer’s Gate at 90th St. and 5th Ave in Central Park.
